ok. an overhauled version of the assembly guide is up, including a section for the batch 1 PCBs http://www.sonic-potions.com/triggerAssembly Ideas for improvements and clarifications are welcome.
The updated firmware will have to wait till tomorrow (clock IO with prescalers is still missing in 0.27) because the DHL page was not working yesterday and i had to print all the labels today which took its time
While testing I noticed the clock output is skipping a pulse sometimes. This should be fixed untill tomorrow. I have to do some emails first before I can return to the firmware.
I ordered my pcb and back banel yesterday and they are shipped already.
I created a public BOM from reichelt.de so other boardies can get benefit of it ( it does not include "washer 0.5mm" ). Does reichelt.de carry washers too ? if they do what is the product number ?
hmmm maybe I could be convinced to do another run of full kits. But probably 2 or 3 euros more expensive then the first run (crimping cables is a huge pita) should still be cheaper than reichelt + extra shipping though
This would be great!!! Just name a prize that is fair for you. I missed the first run. Therefore I scanned the internet for matching washers but could not find some yet. I guess these are important for having the pcb in the right position matching the back panel. Furthermore I don't know what to do with 197 M3 screws. =P~
The Trigger IO works well! Just tested it. I built it with V-trig and S-trig parts, selectable via jumper. After the whole re-assembly of the case (which is not really easy), I saw the ribbon cable beside my LXR! Aaaaarrrgghh!!! So I had to disassemble the LXR again, plug the ribbon cable in and had to reassemble it a second time. And here is a picture of my fully connected LXR:
My original plan was to add the washers and needed standoffs to the backpanels but somehow in the chaos of packing everything up I just realized on the weekend I forgot to add the standoffs to the backpanels while packing. :-o
So if anybody needs the matching standoffs i'll send them in a letter!
regarding the washers. you can also use metal washers there. No danger of shorting out something. I just had plenty of those plastic washers left here.
for the ribbon cable do as nightworxx suggested. Ribbon cable is very easy to separate.
I have soldered the trigger board today, but it doesn't work. If i put a trigger of any outs into the sequencer trigger in of my vintage gear i hear continuously the tone but the sequencer doesn' start.

Hi Julian, I would like to build the trigger extension, but I don't know if I should wait for new kits. Is there a chance that you can be convinced? >:D<
new batch of full kits will be in the shop tomorrow
@Envelope s-trigger parts are optional and not included in the kit. what are ou trying to control with the trigger outs and how do you have it connected?

I'm now gonna test it a little bit, update the changelog and then will upload it to the server
After that I can dig through the rest of the e-mail inbox an finally answer those of you who are still waiting for a reply
