There is a global settiing! I think it is called "setting" in the save menu. But I fear that midi notes are not included, because they belong to the patch.
I switched to the type "all" completely and save everything in this format, which works for m…
Do you know this website:
http://machines.hyperreal.org/samples.html
Here you can find a lot of free samples.
Just be shure that the samples are in mono before putting it on the SD card.
And mind the overall size limit for all samples (~490kb).
For checking shorts you can use every open circuit with some thing to show if a current is flowing.
Just try to keep the voltage as low as possible. Maybe a LED or something else.
I hope this helps!
Reheating of the solder points belonging to the second row of the display should do the job.
Make shure that all solder flux is gone and that there is a visible connection between the pin of the display and the solder pad of the LXR.
Wish you the be…
Congratulation and welcome to the family!
You could check your setting for midi filtering:
http://wiki.sonic-potions.com/index.php/LXR_Owners_Manual#Midi_filtering
Be sure that "R" is set for receiving midi clock.
Your second problem sounds weird.…
Hi Brendan,
I checked your last update and pattern chaining works fine now!
Also the record function by holding the rec button works great.
But I have some suggestions:
- When you use transpose and record the sequence into the sequencer it is hard …
The link to the article was deleted from the main page now.
It seems to be a leak before the official announcement.
But I found some pictures for Moire, Manifold and Malaclypse:
There seem to come something.
See this (although the video is still private):

Hi Brendan,
yes, pattern chaining stops working for me with your new version. I had a simple chain of two patterns, but only the first one was played. After downgrading to your last firmware everything was fine again.
I just noticed, that transpos…
I just finished a new project using manual pattern switching per midi program change for the first time and it absolutely rocks.
Together with the mute option for individual voices it allows one to create nice build-ups.
Thank you for this great op…
Sorry, I don't have a solution, but it sounds similar to this problem:

Thanks Brendan for this fantastic update!
2 - I think, I tried both ways and got the same results. will try again! perhaps, anyone else could confirm?
I can confitm, that something is strange here. I had some patterns with different notes and every…
I am sorry to hear that and I can understand your frustration.
But please have in mind that SP is a one-man company and that Julian has become a father not long ago.
I hope you can contact him somehow and wish you all the best!
I am sorry to hear that.
But I think in this case it would be the best to send the mainboard to Julian for checking it.
I hope you can contact him soon.
Cheers!
Mmmh, the cards are formated with FAT32, right?
Could you do a firmware update using one of these cards?
Sometimes reloading the firmware helps and we could see if the LXR can read from the card.
This sounds like a problem with your SD card.
Which capacity your SD cards have?
I buyed a fresh 16GB SDHC card and it was not working in the LXR.
After that I buyed a Sandisc 2GB SD and this card works excellent.
It's an good idea to use old SD car…
Played with it again last night and now it seems to be working.
Very strange.
Does the machine always default to drum kit 1 and an empty pattern when first turned on? Or can this be changed?
I am happy, that it's working now!
No, the LXR starts…
Is the sequencer running, while you try to save?
I also ended up with same empty patterns while the sequencer was running.
But is was not reproducable.
When the sequencer is stopped everythink works great for me!
