the pioneer board has no connector for the trigger io expansion. you solder to one of the two mainboard connectors.

@varthdader: alle you really need for the proto verion is connect the expansion with a flat cable to the mainboard connector. (with a connector on the expansion side and soldered to the lxr) while not recomended by julian i think, it is totaly poss…

yes. it^ makes sense for synthesized snares with pure oscillator + filtered noise. when using samples as snare i missed the filter too a few times.

if they work in other modes, i don't think something is broken. seems like a softwaare issue to me. strange though - i am not aware of any knows issue or bug that caused behaviour like this. maybe try to refalsh the fw?

@erwanone: i think the course value for original pitch is determined by the sample rate your samples are in. not sure right now, which value, but my course is higher than 0 for original pitch so that i can use it to pitch up and down.

i sometimes move the plastic thing a bit up and down before soldering to loosen it. after soldering it on one side i remove the plastic and then solder the other side. this way i am able to cut the individual pins in case i have to desolder it. t…

btw: with the batch1 LXRs one can also solder the expansion cable to the mainboard instead the mainboard connector on the pcb. it may be a bit messy, but no mess and flying cables can be seen through the case this way.

the firmware/bootloader already supports the trigger outs. just connect it and it will work.
