Yes, I think fcd72 is right. As far as I can remember it was a bit difficult to push the chip into its place without destroying. But with a little bit "left thumb / right thumb" alternating pressure the chip moved down.... post a Pic!

OK got it. I downloaded Julian's firmware version 0.27. Now syncing works fine in both directions. The timing issue is also solved. Thanks to rudedog.

Hi, I'm no tekki but for shure you can use this switch. BUT I wouldt suggest to use a more simple one that will fit into a 8mm hole, because it is a pain to make that switch fitting on the back of the case. Kind regards, xoxer
