In the performance mode you can switch very easy to 8 patterns. But by fill you mean that the sequence automatically switches back to the main pattern?
One thing i've noticed with theTLl1100 is that the PCB get a lot of pressure on it. Maybe it get's better when it's in a case but like it is now the PCB bends every time i hit the step buttons. Maybe it just needs a few more standoffs...
only 909 has accent per track... And that one works by pressing the step key twice...
Maybe it doesn't fit for the LXR .. It's much more then just a X0X wannabe...
+1 for resistor network...
What do the others think of the mixed orange yellow leds for the step sequencer?
I sure like the colourful look of it but it somehow is a bit confusing too... You expect the orange one's to sound different or sosomethin…
The accent track makes it very easy to give a coherent groove to a whole rhythm... And it's this very particular groove is what's so typical about 808 707 606 etc...
Yes but the VOL parameter is per step per instrument right? The accent feature on the old roland x0x drum boxes is for all the instruments at once... it's crude but it works.
I've seen em creep up to the 2000 euro mark recent years.... but this is a lot.... I've got one sitting here for old age pension ... And it's nice to use in the meanwhile...I've just been trying to make a 808 set with the real 808 running side by s…
I would really love to know what all the 'shift' functions are. I've been playing around with it and even got the unit 'stuck' while doing it. It might have crashed or maybe it was a function i used wich makes it totally logical for the device to se…

like Julian said i had only a PCB set so i had to flash the ATmega myself. If you buy a kit from Sonic Potions it will contain the ATmega wich is already flashed with the bootloader.
thnx loderblast... i'm enjoying it too myself
I found one potential bug or maybe it's a feature
When you play with the length of the pattern in mix menu (i love this function) and then put ir back to 16 again the rhythm is shifted to the other ins…
And another LXR sees the light
I flashed the firmware on mac...this is what i used

I changed the order to :ic socketsledsswitches display header
Then it's in the order of height
Getting al the leds straight is a bit of a bitch with so many leds... I always solder one leg first and then bend everything straight before i solder the …
One thing i would like in the build instruction is the quantity of the parts. so for resistor X there should be N parts. I always like to count out the parts before i solder and when they are all gone i know i haven't forgot one. I know i can look i…
Just reporting some things i find in the assembly instructions while building....I just made the mistake of soldering the USB connector in without reading ...That's something i think should be ok to fix but i think the order should be the other way …
