I think the main problem here would be that the LXR is already using most of the available CPU cycles for the drum synthesis. So I doubt there is much space for additional FX slots.

offhandedly I don't know of any matching button. for which functionality do you need it? you know that in step edit mode (mode button 3) most of the shift button functionality is inverted? So you don't have to hold it down.

there are currently 2 announced cases: - adrians case which will come a little bit later with the cover for the trigger IO - girts case which only comes in the trigger IO version (hopefully available soon)

ok. but at least the display is showing the menu. besides the LEDs, is the rest working? can you navigate the menu and load presets? the question now is if just the LEDs have a fault or if the rest is not working, too.

you don't have the display installed yet? I'd say install it so we can better see what's happening. since the voltages are stable there should be no short. at the moment I'm clueless, but with the display we could see at least some error messages.
