I am also curious about adding the trigger out to this. Will we be ordering this from the store?
no I'll send you an invoice via e-mail.
But I can add whatever you like to your order.
The cases did arrive this evening :-D
Now I'm gonna build one…
did it ever work or do you have these problems since you build it?
on page 3 of the schematic you can see the used parts for the midi in:
http://www.sonic-potions.de/sites/default/files/documents/FrontpanelSchematic.pdf
did you check all the solder…
I think the main problem here would be that the LXR is already using most of the available CPU cycles for the drum synthesis. So I doubt there is much space for additional FX slots.
they do come with switches, cables to connect the switch, shrinking tube, light pipes, rubber feet, spacers to mount the trigger PCB and screws. All that is needed.
Girts case comes only with the trigger IO holes in the back.
they all are silkscre…
Okay, here's the deal regarding Girts metal enclosures.
I should have them ready next week.
They are already on their way and I can see them in the tracking system
The first batch I get is rather small.
I'll get 39 cases now, then 11 more in abou…
I will make up my mind about the final price this weekend.
I have my tracking number now for the first batch of cases :-D *yay*
price will be around 100,-€ incl. VAT
I have to do some math, since I bought some additional small parts to go with girts…
offhandedly I don't know of any matching button.
for which functionality do you need it?
you know that in step edit mode (mode button 3) most of the shift button functionality is inverted? So you don't have to hold it down.
noted for the next update.
I'm currently quite busy solving some production problems for upcoming projects and a cooperation with another developer, but I hope to be doing some LXR work soon again!
do you have an early version?
the LXRs I have here all have a metal top (although plastic shaft) encoder and are not the cheapest (made by bourns).
I think olivier is using custom encoders from china by now, but I think he used to have the same pot…
I tried it a little bit for one of the sound demos in my soundcloud playlist.
But I modeled it after a 606 VST
unfortunately I don't have the patch anymore
papernoise is right.
I just increment the version number with each update.
there is no milestone system at the moment
There will be another update soon.
I took a little time off during summer from the LXR development.
After developing it for about…
here is a zip with the exported SVG and DXF files from the trigger PCB:
www.sonic-potions.com/public/trigger/triggerExtensionDimensions.zip
these are the hole positions from girts backpanel - untested. this is from the latest sketch I have, but norm…
there are currently 2 announced cases:
- adrians case which will come a little bit later with the cover for the trigger IO
- girts case which only comes in the trigger IO version (hopefully available soon)
ok. but at least the display is showing the menu.
besides the LEDs, is the rest working?
can you navigate the menu and load presets?
the question now is if just the LEDs have a fault or if the rest is not working, too.
I can't promise anything as it is not in my hands, but I SHOULD get them next week.
If I know for sure I will let you know. Still not completely clear on all the details
then how do you cut them?
I know you don't have one for shiftrs case, but any SVG would be nice to have.
otherwise I have to re-create one from scratch :-p
you don't have the display installed yet?
I'd say install it so we can better see what's happening.
since the voltages are stable there should be no short.
at the moment I'm clueless, but with the display we could see at least some error messages.
