12V will work, but then the 7805 is really getting hot! So I recommend a power supply with 9V (or 7,5V).
And it has to be center positive! (I dont know what "- neutre +" means).
Here is a discription of the MIDI filter settings:
Midi filter is divided into transmit filter (TXF) and receive filter (RXF). Any letter shown in either of these represents that that type of message WILL be transmitted (or received). These are the…
I am very happy with my Focusrite Scarlett. First I have had the 2i4 and now I have the 18i20. They have a lot of good reviews and also a good quality/price ratio.
Edit: They are class compliant, so they work also with an iPad without problems.
Where are the clicks, pops or noises coming from? From the PC (Tascam) or from the LXR? You can try to disconnect the Mackie mixer from the Tascam audio interface. And then try with headphones or monitors directly connected to the Mackie. Can you st…
Correct me if I'm wrong, but normally Bank Select and Program Change work together. And for Bank Select there is a MSB and LSB. So you have 128 x 128 Banks, and every Bank can handle 128 Programs. Together: 2097152 options! The question is, which co…
Hi pierre,
1. yes, buttons 9, 10, 11 are linked to RR 6. You can find the schematic easily in the assembly instructions. There is a link: http://www.sonic-potions.com/sites/default/files/documents/FrontpanelSchematic.pdf
Have a look at page 6/7 of …
I use several power supplies from Goobay and they work very well and are low-priced.

The Trigger IO works well! Just tested it. I built it with V-trig and S-trig parts, selectable via jumper.
After the whole re-assembly of the case (which is not really easy), I saw the ribbon cable beside my LXR!
Aaaaarrrgghh!!! So I had to disassem…
You can only save and load a whole pattern set. A pattern set is a group of 8 patterns.
If you have programmed only one pattern and saved it, you get only this one pattern when you load the set.
If you have programmed two patterns and saved them, yo…
And if you want to slave the LXR to a master clock, you have to set the bpm to 0.

I use the latest beta firmware by rudeog. See here: http://forum.sonic-potions.com/discussion/310/new-custom-firmware-features#Item_22
There are some new midi features. In the main menu you can set the midi channel and settings to filter the transmi…
It seems you have overwritten the bootloader of your ATMEGA. You only have to program the bootloader on the ATMEGA. The firmware of both, ATMEGA and Cortex is then programmed by the standard firmware update procedure (copy FIRMWARE.BIN to root of SD…
Your kit is complete. Just follow the assambly instructions. So leave all the RLED blank. Some photos in the instructions are from an older version of the board. The one LED current limiting resistor (221R) is R7 and has to be soldered.
It's not easy to replace the wrong resistor networks (desoldering is no fun!)
I would recommend to just solder all the normal LED resistors (which are unequipped up to now) additionally to the wrong resistor networks. Then you have parallel circuits…
When I power up my LXR sometimes all LEDs light up and sometimes none or only some (during boot sequence). Depending on the time the LXR is powered off and the last state before powering off.
That's normal behaviour.
That's all really strange. At least one LED is working ;-) And it's the only LED which is not connected to a resistor network but to a single resistor. Coincidence?
Actually it's not pin 10/9 but 15/16 (pin numbering is counter-clockwise).
And your measured connections are ok. Pin 16 on both ICs is VCC (5V).
The capacitor is connected between VCC and GND.
At U2 (74HC165) pin 8 and pin 15 is connected to GND.
At…
Have a look at the frontpanel schematics. Page 6 for the inputs (buttons) and page 7 for the outputs (LEDs)
