A couple small bugfixes:
- some timing issues on the looper fixed. Sounds much better and more consistent now.
- fixed an issue with rolls occasionally taking a long time (1 bar+) to trigger.
- releasing shift doesn't revert the PERF menu back to th…
have you thought about adding a second midi in?
I'm not sure what that would accomplish. If you're looking for a merge box, might I recommend http://www.midisolutions.com/?
hmm... having something stuck up on the screen does make me think of this issue, are you getting hung led's also?

I would give the same advice: check t…
2 bugs fixed:
- pattern chaining works again
...(there still might be a thingy where chaining doesn't load properly from patterns sometimes while the sequencer is playing - i don't think that's me, I think that's a general LXR bug. I'll look into…
Any more info on this? I never trigger with external midi so it's possible I missed something. Is the timing of the note-off affecting this? IE - if you change the length of the MIDI note, does the click change?
yes, I have plans to fix a few things in the next couple weeks. Can you clarify what you mean by these bugs? Is it this?
...
I can confitm, that something is strange here. I had some patterns with different notes and everything is fine when I select…
There is currently no 'active step' function the way there is on the volcas/monotribe etc. However, I just had some discussion about doing something like this. It would not be a difficult addition to the sequencer, the question is just where to put …
It does not - the knobs are connected directly to ADC channels on the atmega.
I've never experienced anything like this... are you by any chance using the knobs in 'pickup' ('latch', 'snap', i forget what its called) mode - where the parameter only…
...'m experiencing some midi issues. I would like to know if anyone has the same problem before going back to the stock firmware and check if it's also there.
I have the LXR synced to Logic through midi and when I press play on the daw the LXR start…
... So I saved two different ALLs under two different Perf Numbers 4 and 6 to try if I can switch/load between them via CC. So I'd send CC32 with #4 or #6. Did not work at all. I made sure to check each time the global Midi settings (Bnk2Perf ON)...…
Hmm... yeah, if wiggling one of the LED's gets it to work, that might indicate that some of the solder points might need a reflow. If the LXR works normally but won't accept a new firmware, I *think* that means that one of the pins associated with r…
... every voice in actually fed in the stereo1 it seems, you have to re-select the desired output to get it to go were it should.
It's going to be a couple weeks till I can get in there and do some bugfixes, but I will make sure this gets corrected.…
Possibly. I meant the Atmega - it is a 644-20 model. You might give Julian a shout and see if he can swap one with you. If you have a multimeter and can test the connections to the microcontroller or can see something wrong, correct it, but I wouldn…
rolls will be recorded normally, provided the scale supports that resolution. At default scale, the sequencer has a resolution of 1/128th notes. Each increase in scale halves that, so for 1/64th notes, you can use x2 scale (2 bars).
1 - Yeah, chaining patterns could be better. I've yet to think of a way to make it easier and at the same time not break everyone's existing pattern chains. I might do something with this in a few months, and fix that longstanding bug (in the stock …
Try reformatting the SD card or try a different card? Just 'F' isn't an error code I'm aware of, but it might be trying to display 'File System Error' and crashing before it can get through that. If that doesn't work, check the connections to the 64…
shift select in voice mode lets you edit sub-steps. My firmware at least remembers the voice page you were last on, if you want to try that. Also, turning off pattern follow may help depending on what you're doing, and step mode is generally a bette…
Very cool, interested in seeing the board(s). Might be time to build an LXR for myself
They need to dump using the main midi in and put that nice unused expansion header to work
agree, it would be a speedier way of adding knobs and pads without …
If you really want to figure out what's going on, you're going to have to go back through those old commits. Fork Julian's code and roll back the master branch - probably to something in 2013 or 2014. The issue isn't going to show up as anything wro…
I don't know if I am clear enough here and I guess it really depends on how you use the LXR, but on my side, I'd love to have the option to switch between "quantized first notes on the rolls" (like the older firmware) and your "human touch first not…
I think I've noticed something, wonder if it's related. Something seems buggy with the lfos.
To see what I mean, load factory patch goa (#19).
Set some steps for Drum 2 and let it play.
Go to the lfo page for Snare 1.
Change parameters frq, snc …
You're on a roll! (Pun intended)
I guess you haven't had a chance to verify the lfo bug I believe is still there? I'll try to debug some myself. Nice. I'll be trying out your firmware.
I noticed that the potential lfo bugs are present. Here's how …
Joined, Thanks for that! Thought of doing the same thing, curating a FB group is just too much work for me, with all the spam those things inevitably get!
I've started working on some tutorial videos, first one is up, I'll be putting them up here:

Definitely possible. I had to move a few things around within step processing for the individual pattern switch/looper stuff. Should be able to fix that pretty easy when I get back to my laptop tonight. Thanks!
OK! rolls should be fixed.
Small menu improvement - It always annoyed me that the voice menu "forgot" where you were when you switched away from it. It shouldn't now. It's possible there are some small inconsistencies in menu switching I missed, a…
Yup! This was a bug. Thanks for that! I think I have a fix. I'm working on some menu improvements too at the moment, I'll post an update before I go to bed tonight.
Note that there are a couple things going on here. There is an issue with the firm…
