i had this bug when i was using a lot of parts routed to the same couple of outputs at once, so it looks like it's in the mixer output part. By the way, the output of the synth is not very hot, I suppose that it's by design?i have been very inactive…
I've been trying the midi sync thing using USB with ableton - worked flawlessly. I was very pleased.I still have to try with my Anushri. I'm running a bit out of time nowadays, as i'm spending most of my free time on mixing my (rock) band's album. I…
yeah it looks like what I was experiencing regarding de-synchronization.still, there was seemingly one frame difference between the anushri kick note and the start/stop sync signal. It was very sensitive when the tempo was setup to something slow. Y…
@admviolin > it looks like you have some lousy solder joints around the screen. Reflow them a bit and it should be alright.Another reason may be that the bottom of your screen would touch the other components legs.
I'm in the middle of a jam using my anushri as a midi-clock and kick, snare and hihat trigger source.Firmware is updated from yesterday (0.15).
I try to trigger kick, snare and hihats drum elements using the drum knobs on the anushri, while playing …
I experienced some digital clipping yesterday when using a lot of parts. Given the output level, it doesn't seem to be related to my soundcard (used as a mixer), but to the LXR.
Oh, ok sorry, I updated the unit last friday I think... I'll get the new versions asap.I'm a bit in a hurry, I didn't take the time to run through all the threads.
I had the chance of playing the unit a bit yesterday.I've also opened the manual, although i did nothing fancy yesterday (drum sound editing, microsteps, and that's all). I purposely did not read the manual, but just tried to find quickly the inform…
maybe it is something to correct then?Having a default setup when you can use the synth without any sd card would be helpful, even if it's pretty limited.
sooooo,
I have finished soldering my prototype I didn't have the time to test it extensively though. I have some other DIY stuff to finish, but I hope that I'll be able to spend a good amount of time on the synth to try it
Nothing much to add,The l…
so I couldn't help but start soldering instead of going to bed... I've just finished all the resistors.
Just a few, very small, remarks :- it's not clear whether we have to leave the R51 spot blank or put a jumper instead in the instructions- I don'…
yeah I know itbut I live at the 5th floor without elevator and without entry phone, and there was a week-end in between. So, if the postman (or the postgirl) is a bit late or is a bit lazy (which I can understand, actually), he will just not take the…
I'm still waiting for the parcel, I won't spend my holiday tomorrow building my LXR
My take about the syncing problem would be to have a "sync" parameter (yep, yet another parameter...), with 3 options :"sync to x", "group with x", and "no sync"
- …
I wish the collaboration between Germany and France (i mean.. ahem.. postal-services-wise...) was doing better. We have a holiday next wednesday, I hope that i'll grab the parcel before!
yeah, I was not speaking about video editing, but rather what is displayed on the screen when using the synthbut I'll see how easy (or difficult) is the synth to handle.I must admid that I had never used any drum synth before, except some flash TR80…
That's really good.
Maybe the screen should give an insight about what you're doing, but I don't really know how you can achieve that. From what I understand, you select the part (kick / snare / toms etc) using the rightmost vertical switches, and y…
looks very clear to mesurprised by the way the screen is mounted though - wasn't there another way?Like, exchanging the positions of the midi connectors and the core board?
There is one thought that I had this morningA Pionneer run is also useful for avoiding issues caused by components inconsistencies from one source to another. I don't know to what extent your product can be subject to this, but you might want to thi…
a bit the same here...I think that I already have a nice bunch of required parts at hand, but I'll have to order some stuff anyway...Providing full kits is going to give you quicker feedback from builders, but it's going to give you a lot more work.…
wow, that's a nice amount of buttons
regarding pre-programmed avr chips : i suppose that a good number of potioneers will be stuffed with the required hardware to program chips. At least that's my case..This project should be relatively cheap since…
