  • I often noticed the same behaviour. Only first step, not saving to go to second step. Didn't check the difference in saving while running the sequencer....
  • Very, very nice ! ... and fast as lightning   :-)) Thank you Julian !
  • I noticed a weird effect updating to version 0.35. If I load a morphkit and morph between the kit and morhpkit I hear a pop with every numerical change between 0 and 255...I reflashed to 0.34 and the pop's/clicks were gone...anyone else has this iss…
  • Did anyone else have issues with user made kits after updating to 0.35? Almost all my personal kits had LP2 set as the filter on DRUM 1 and they all sounded strange\muffled It was easy enough to rectify but i was just wondering same here...
  • Excellent job ! Very inspiring
  • @kooorps You should definitely get a new board because you're gonna love the LXR (Be shure there are no shorts elsewere and no parts are mixed up...reflowing solderpoints helped me in some cases)
  • It seems the STM-chip of your board is fried, brown spot near the 'Z'. I had the same problem once because of wrong powered USB-hub....
  • Don't the monitor button's have to be set to 'auto' or 'in' ? I can't see a yellow button on the monitors of the audiotracks ? Just a thought...
  • Mesmerised  I put the SD card in a Win7 PC, let it show hidden files and folders and the files created by Mac finder showed up. Deleted those files, reloaded samples in the LXR and guess what ? Yep, normal behaviour Thanks for sharing this informat…
  • I had that exact same behaviour with my LXR.... The double amount of sampleslots that get loaded of which half of them have no sound is strange. Is there a way to specify the order in which the samples are loaded ? I tried numbering the samples but…
  • This morning I received my new mainboard. Everything is working splendid as before and no data on the SD-card is lost. Great !!! Thanks for all the help Julian. Jürgen
  • Yes, I used an adapter to switch it to center positive. The accident happened because I used a 9v adaptor instead of a 5v one by mistake for a powered usb-hub connected to the LXR , while reconfigurating my man-cave... All my adapters are labeled fr…
  • In the meanwhile... Fried mainboard and after a long search and reassemblage found out the 1N4148 protection diode for the optocoupler input was broken. :^)
  • It gets worse : the big chip of the motherboard is damaged as far as I can tell...
  • I think I found what caused the malfunction. A powered USB hub with a 9V adaptor instead of a 5V adaptor. A USB keyboard connected to the same hub has also died. Is there any chance I could still repair the LXR. I allready miss it a lot Jürgen
  • The fact that I don't measure 5 volts anymore as described in step 5 is bugging me. Took out the capacitors but in the shop they also said they looked fine.
  • I have continuity between GND and 5V...
  • I removed the 8pin IC to measure like indicated in step 5. As safety precaution I will remove the other IC's as well...
  • Hi again, I replaced the 7805 voltage regulator, but I still don't measure 5Volt like indicated in step 5. It did when I was building it and when I did the test before proceding to the next step. The LXR worked fine 'till the accident.. Can't find …
  • Hi Julian, Thanks for the reply. I used a 9v adapter, with the + polarity in center, which I bought for my guitarpedals. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/1SpotComboPk I will measure for shorts and continuity when I get back home. Jürgen
