  • I designed a small galvanic isolator PCB for the trigger IO and just ordered a prototype. It completely isolates the trigger IO with a DC/DC converter for the power and 12 optocoupler channels. let's see if it helps. I will report once it arrives. …
  • just finished building and testing my penrose last weekend. it is a great kit! amazing build-guide and very useful tool in a modular set up. many things in my modular case became hugely 'expanded' in combination with penrose. it is also instantly in…
  • where are you located?
  • This issue is quite annoying, indeed... NF filters on the audio outputs didn't work at all for mine. One workaround solution i have been using is with the help of the rosie module, by make noise. Sending the LXR out to the stereo returns of rosie …
  • great work on that!!
  • lets just leave it to that the name penrose and background pattern implies endless fun then
  • probabilistic note/beat quantizer with the ability to re-disorganise sequences within a set frame of limits? or a wishful thinking machine?
  • nice one! the outputs are only gate, trigger and clock. but the internal sounds are very flexible. too many things to list here, so, i guess the best would be to check the online manual.
  • the lxr sounds great, as you said. so, besides the cv capabilities, you get yourself a synth. as for the cv options, it has the clock in and out section which is more like pams workout. then you have the 7 trigg outs, that can be programmed by the …
  • putting it simple, they are not really comparable. See the reasons below lxr: - 10 outputs, 3 inputs - clock, trigger and gate a4: - 4 outputs - CV, Hz, clock, trigger and gate
  • girts+1
  • I have been having the same issue. I had changes in the volume of the noise without doing something in particular, but in general, using the lxr's audio and trigger outs at the same time is not really usable... I really hope there will be a fix on t…
  • sounds great!!
  • nice! one question though. the leds seem to go through small holes on the front panel... will it be a pain to align all leds the first time? or do the holes allow for 'biological variation'?
  • sounds great! is there an email notification or something we can setup for the eager ones of us?
  • thanks for the update. looking forward to this.
  • but if I add a connection from the trigger IO to the modular I get digital ground loop noise in the background.:-/ I have to play a little bit with my routing to see if I can make it go away. Hey julian, did you find any handy solutions on this? Th…
  • nice firmware additions!!! thanks a lot. Should we expect these additional functions to go in the next 'official' firmware too?
  • You could build code and a break out module (like e.g. the vermona monolancet) so that we could leave the trigger outs on board and still have trigger in. Or could the code be changed in a way that we could chose some tracks and their triggers to …

  • ...and solid Ah!!! This will be beautiful. Even handsome.
  • cant wait to get one of these
  • @rudeog I can trigger a mattel synsonics with no problem. All i did was instal jacks that connect to the same points where the piezo pads go. works great. not sure if the synare works the same way though. but, why not?
