I've just tried this using my SQ-1 as the clock source and the clock in of the lxr behaves as expected. It doesn't respond at all to the reset in.

I've never used the usb on the lxr but I don't think that's possible. It will send midi clock on the usb but it will need drivers to work. Maybe you need to work the other way around: send midi clock from the beatstep to the lxr and use the lxr midi…

I've been doing some testing and I noticed this weird behavior mainly presents itself when the performance is saved while the sequencer is running. If I stop the sequencer before saving pattern chaining behaves correctly.Anyone else has this problem?

I've never tried this, but I guess the triggers only respond to the notes of the internal sequencer.

I understand what you mean now. I also set the clock output to s-trig. Makes sense, thanks loderblast! I'm pretty new to this trigger stuf, i'll fix this tonight.
