So, How do we write MIDI notes on a track, to sequence another synth? Are there dedicated tracks for this, or do we use one of the 7 voice tracks and use "Pattern Editing" "Step parameters"?
Can we record MIDI notes into the tracks?
thanks!

Just got mine transferred to the metal case this weekend. The case is awesome and gives the LXR the solid, HD case it deserves! I like the light pipes, they really stand our bright and make the machine pop. I hot glued them in from the inside so …
Looks like the screen printer forgot to turn the SR to 127 for this run!
Its not that bad. But yeah, a disappointment after waiting all that time!

Julian, It's only 4 jacks so if there was an alternate PCB available, with the larger LXR buttons you could just leave solder pads on the PCB for the connections to the jacks. This way users / DIYers could adapt the circuit for whatever format jack…
I know its a long long shot but it would be great to get a panel PCB designed for 1/4" jacks with appropriate spacing for larger buttons. (as found on the LXR) This PCB could be an additional item in the shop.
I know the biggest modular market is e…
Take your time and resist trying to do the whole thing at once, take a few days, a couple sections at a time. Don't skip the testing in between sections!! And double check everything is in right before inserting IC's and powering up.Don't bother …
Just got mine built -all works great!! Updated to .32 loaded some samples and everything. AWESOME MACHINE!! (Except for the button caps not fitting right)
I'm going to use the trig outs with my 777 and see how they play together..

I think the gates option would add a lot of tweaking possibilities for modular users, go for it. Most circuits respond to the rising edge of a pulse, so for users triggering events (AD enveloped, analog drum patches, sequencer resets, etc.. ) there…
I am happy.
I never said the LXR features were messy.
I can handle it. I can read a forum thread. I can search for some information.
I plan on messing with the firmware for fun.
I am happy that you didn't lost the usability of the LXR.
thanks for…
Trigger outs will just output a voltage pulse or spike. Not sure how long the pulse lasts in the LXRs case , but its probably just a few milliseconds. The pulse is probably 5 volts 'high'
A cv/gate is two signals, one (the gate) is a pulse that stay…
Will the trigger-out parts become part of the "full kit", and will the new back panel become the standard setup, or will the parts and panel for the trigger outs become a separate item to "put in the cart"?
thanks!
