cool :-) mine came from my wife too - I use it quite a bit in the 'studio' too as you can use it as feet for music gear that slides around, or wobbles slightly

I used blu-tack (or whatever it is called in your part of the world) - worked really well. Just made a little ball to cover the top of the switch then put the cap on this stuff: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu-Tack

Sounds like it's triggering GAS! hahahahha(I have to admit liking the idea of the trigger out, ordering a kit, then actually buying some gear I can trigger....so far I have resisted)

Looking good! I did the same angled design with my all-wood case and I think it help a lot This is the point where Elektron should just buy out Julian and buy your case design and they could produce their best drum synth ever...

thanks! @Varthdader - the LXR layout is so brilliantly intuitive + with led feedback + display I don't find the need to label anything, so I will probably leave it 'nude'. I would like a LXR logo on there though - think I might burn it into the wood…

Is that the MPX8 AKAI library? The one I have has 2 x 808 kicks 136KB and 178KB (44.1K mono samples) - I wonder if you are converting your samples to something else which is confusing the LXR? Just a thought....
