I had that problem with the start stop button and exchanged it with the red record button! It still worked but for fast starting it was a mess, whilst the record function doesn't need to be that quick ; )

I think you have to change rxf in the main menu (shift plus Load/Save) to N for note and dependeng on your keyboard/synth change the midichannel on the global level and for every single voice to the same channel... I hope that was correct

All you can do is looking for bad solders, for forgotten solders!, Checking the IC's, right directions etc. Sorry I'm not an expert. But this is what you should check first! Hope you'll get it done soon!

I think thats possible in Brendan Clarkes firmware. The value for the note/ pitch must be right next to the roll-type in Performance mode, I already used this option recently.
