yes, thnx for the update! Bastl answered me one week ago:
"The 60knobs is almost ready. We just released another instrument and 60knobs is next on the line;)Best regards,Leoš"
I literally started designing something like this a couple of months ago, but I am so glad I can stop!! This looks great, I can't wait!!!!
Also glad I never got a case for my lxr, can now plan a case for both.
i agree with most of what you're saying, but mostly with the envelope and LFO divisions. i find a lot of the synthesis parameters generally speaking want to be more fine tuned to more usable ranges/curves/emphasis
Agreed, I put this in my wishlist…
when I set the Midi note to an instrument to C-2, it is actually C-1 according to Reaper when I am sending Midi. So there seems to be an octave difference in between. LXR might be off by an octave or Reaper might be.
For what its worth I've notice…
Don't know much about midi, but can't you just use a bcr2000 or something similar? Maybe a hack? I mean combine them in a new case? I did look at using the bcr2000 boards, they're sort of in two pieces, and a bit larger / more than I need, althoug…
very sensible way for a one time, default kit. However, was more thinking about making it easier to build up kits from existing kits with the init voice part. but yea.
You can also import individual drum parts from other kits on my firmware - you c…
one shot lfo's are available on my firmware now, if you want to try it out!
nice! thanks
Regarding the init drumkit, I just made one myself and saved it in the first slot. Problem solved

yea thats sort of what I was trying to say in my intro, when I said "my" vision of an improved ux, being a ux designer myself. So I agree with what your saying, was sort of just putting it out there to see what others thought, I wasn't really at a p…
Hey! Little off topic here. I was just wondering, maybe some of you gays know, which buttons does Elektron use in its machines? https://www.flickr.com/photos/psychlist1972/8419385112/in/set-72157632621387322/lightbox/

yea was going to say the size also can make a difference, I can see the 512mb version of the card being as old as they are causing issues. I think you want at least 1gb but not more than 4gb. The weird thing is that it doesn't really have to do with…
might help to post a clip of what your doing that you don't like, so we know what you mean by "not clean and realistic".
Those terms are very abstract. Like when you say clean, it makes it sound like you either using drive or distortion, or sample r…
I used this one with no issues (formatted with a mac):

No reason I can think of why it should not work.
In the end the frontpanel of the LXR works just like a midi controller for the mainboard.
The prototcol used is a little bit different but is using UART as well. (since not all functions are accessibl…
sorry ive been away from my lxr while on vacation. I do think the chromatic business was part of 0.34, but don't quite remember, if you check the firmware post it says what changed for each version.
Yea, offset wasn't a big deal, was just explaining for posterity why setting the notes per voice didn't work at first.
I also had trouble with sync before, but gave up as I was centralizing sequencing with ableton since I got push. I just don't nee…
no your not crazy, it does indeed do this, I was just fighting this very feature, in order to get external sequencing working. the last edit page lets you assign the channel for each voice.
working now!
there's some weird offset with the midi note numbers and the actual notes. So C1 or 36 on lxr is actually C-1 in ableton. So thats what was going on. Thanks for your help tho
needing to do this for each preset is sort of a bummer, but …
@Paulus
Thanks for info, going to try this out and see what happens. I did already assign each voice to its own note, but maybe I didn't do it carefully enough, or had the wrong midi filtering settings.
NO I mean, I use this for sheet metal. It's a popular choice for this kind of thing. Not that its the same tool but accomplishes the same result because the way it cuts is similar to what you posted. It does do a chamfer just by setting the depth co…
thanks for the info. I'm using a uni bit which I think does the same.
Also do you use oil or lubricant? I was having trouble because it get the paper wet then starts to unstick.
