with ones used in goovesizer (standard chinese from evilbay) you'll need to adjust top panel very precisely - at best it will protrude for only ~1 mm.

In my LXR case it's non-standard OLED, encoder with swapped lines and my laziness to setup ARM toolchain to compile and assemble SDcard firmware image.And the need for flashing dozens MCU's for other projects of course

@Teef, solder 28 and 40 pin sockets to breadboard. Add 2 caps, quartz and 10 pin header for usbasp. I'm using this temporary adapter for about four years It takes 20 minutes once to solder and than saves a lot of time.And usbasp+avrdude FTW.

Finally finished the enclosure!4.5 mm acryllic was the one black colored available, but with this long buttons it turned out even better.

Good! PCB is not routed and there's enough place, so i'll include AVR chip and LCD with minimal interface.

@julianHi :-hWill the synth run without atmega and control surface?I'm thinking of compact MIDI-controlled module with just MCU, DAC's, SDcard and MIDI interface and settings editing via CC's.Or maybe with minimal code changes?

Very good news! I see that 4344's now on the main board. What about SD-card, does it still requires AVR to function or interfaces directly to STM32?
