Well yeah that will certainly hold it in place and I will probably resort to that, but is this really the intended method to mount it? If so, the guide should be updated imho.

It sems like flashing the new firmware did the trick. I tried rebooting multiple times now and although the symbols sometimes still appear on the display for a split second, they don't stay on screen and the unit starts up normally. Again, a big Tha…
