when I set the Midi note to an instrument to C-2, it is actually C-1 according to Reaper when I am sending Midi. So there seems to be an octave difference in between. LXR might be off by an octave or Reaper might be.
gosh, i forgot about this post, i would have updated it since some of this weirdness vanished. i plan to look at the code too when i get to the studio.
btw, is the firmware link on the main site different than the latest at github? (i cant remembe…
i would like a hint or two as to locating the DSP section of the code. there are a lot of files. i'm not lazy, i couldn't find them, and im hoping someone has already seen these files and can just tell me where to look.
i agree with most of what you're saying, but mostly with the envelope and LFO divisions. i find a lot of the synthesis parameters generally speaking want to be more fine tuned to more usable ranges/curves/emphasis
how many parameters does your 'cli…
i would take the case off, plug it in, and try to isolate the part that causes the corruption, starting with the oled by pushing on it, but it could be something else.
hm good question. i know you can modulate the waveform selection, so i imagine if you got the LFO set to exactly the right rate, and filled your sample folder with a wavetable, and set the center point of the LFO to where it doesn't select the defau…
I found a problem with unplugging outs 1 and 2 while playing, and replugging into 3/4, unplugging, and then replugging into 1 and 2. Plenty of random results such as Load/Save information disappearing, silence in the sound output, a corrupted filen…
I was wondering if the user samples are supposed to show up in the Click section, mine only show up in the Osc section. I want to use my own samples for transients to supplement (or phase modulate) the main synth voices.
I guess this is going to sound far-fetched and precocious, but is it within the realm of possibility for a tinkerer to tie in a card/processor of their own and fill it with samples?
I knew there was a chance that the midi out could be configured as thru. Need to look into that.
Does LXR play in pitched mode across the keyboard Or on specific note numbers? Or both?
I just ordered mine so I have not even touched one yet
for the second question: the LXR only has a midi in and midi out, and unless i am mistaken, you need a midi thru to sync your wolf from your DAW after the LXR. a midi thru box is a cheap way to fix that, but if you don't have an USB powered 4x4 midi…
