good catch. i just tried it out: i have a single step, decay that lasts almost as long as the pattern for amplitude and fm (no mod env), same coarse settings, and i hear the beating finally stop when i get the fin setting down to -63 (which i believ…
I was able to save the performance to a different location and then fix the steps, and they seem to have stayed. While I was doing this, I noticed that if I loaded the new performance while the old buggy performance was playing, it inherited the pro…
after more use it seems to reliably happen whenever i load a pattern or performance while the sequencer is running. if i stop before loading, it remembers the next pattern assignment as it should.
24ppq might be difficult as the sequencer runs at 32, right? is that divided down from a common multiple? i guess it already puts out 24ppq midi clock so maybe?
any news here? i see that the filter reset clicks have been fixed in the latest update but overlapping envelopes still click. was it commented out in order to fix some other issue?
plug a midi cable from lxr midi out jack to xoxbox midi in jack, set xoxbox to midi sync mode. that's usually all you need to do with any sequencers. i don't remember if lxr has a setting that turns off midi clock output.
i agree that would be cool at smaller timings than the current sequencer resolution, and convenient with a single adjusment rather than each step. adding a delay parameter in
the voice is a cool way to do it, but then you couldnt slide it early. may…
it sounds like maybe @jazzmonster wants values that are smaller than the 1/128th (32 ppq) timing resolution. otherwise (except for the mod destination) this is already possible with substeps. if rotation doesnt work on substeps yet you can rotate it…
as far as i can tell, all oscillators reset in all modes. the OFS resets it to a non-zero point. you could use this and/or the fine frequency setting to try to get the phase to end in the same place it starts, but that sacrifices your freedom with t…
clarification: second substep for slightly late, eighth substep for very late (or slightly early if you sequence the voice on the previous step instead).
you can do this at the sequencer resolution with the 8 substeps. just turn off the first one and turn on the second for each step that's active. not quite as fast as setting an offset, but you get more control over individual steps.
this is also th…
it would be great to panel mount a wider screen with full parameter names and spread the knobs out too. anyone else? additional board for this stuff or create a new one?
i'm in favor of using an LFO mode to address this. if the offset parameter allows you to shift the start phase of the waveform, a one-shot mode would do the trick for me. i'd also really like to be able to separate the pitch eg from fm amount (if i …
i'm waiting for my kit to arrive but this seems kind of crucial. in some drum synthesis voices i only need 1 eg in addition to the amp eg (pitch or fm or filter) but in many situations i prefer to at least have separate destination amounts for each …
