LXR that does not work

edited December 2016 in Troubleshooting
Hello
I finished assembling the LXR but it's been 3 days that I try to make it work without success
I followed the procedure to the letter, I specify that this is the first time that I weld
Besides I find that it is not too ugly for a first
The measurements with the multimeter gives 4,965 v as well on IC socket DIP B as onAVP ISP and no continuity
Plug into Mac USB and recognized as USB MIDI device
Test 5 SD cards, the LXR accepts the update in 0.37 but that's all
But nothing to make the screen blinking indicating LXR 0.37 and Chinese letters alternately
I have reviewed all the welds several times the polarity of the elements also
I try alternative firmware but always the same
I am blazer I know more what to do apart pluck my hair although I still have much more
~X(
I forgot good holidays of end of years

  • It will certainly note help you...
But, if the LXR accept the firmware update, it's a good thing. Sometimes, when I was updating my LXR I've also got chinese characters, never understand why.
Finally, after a firmware update the LXR don't "work". This is normal, you must shutdown the power and restart (without anything pressed etc).
