custom firmware problem

edited March 2016 in General
Hi,

This morning i was trying to put the new firmware on my sd card (V0.37). And it went wrong...

So i started to download the 'FIRMWARE.BIN' on the http://www.brendanclarke.com/files/LXR/

1 - Is it the good one ? Should i delete the firmware.bin on my sd card and put the new one ?

Because i did this (download 'firmware.bin' / delete the old one on the sd card / put the new one on it)
The message 'bootloader' eppeared, and after  'sucess / reboot'.
when i reboot the lxr, nothing change at all.
( in the video i see the message ' ... V0 .37 -bc- ...'  not on my lxr)
when i look over the menu, nothing change..

After, i put  both firmware.bin (the original one, and the downloaded version on the brendanclark website on the sd card
I put it into the lxr, and a new message appeared " boot loader V1.2 - a real quick message 'sd card ..?' too fast for my eye and finally " File n "

What should i do ?
Excuse my english, i hope you'll understand

thanx

  • So i delete everything on my sd card.
I put the Orbit charon on it.
Put the sd card on the lxr, a weird chinease symbol appear and the led light up, and every menu gone black.
    nothing on it. so weird.

I put the sd card in my mac, delete everything, put the back up of my original lxr memory on it.
Put it into the lxr, same message ' File n'

    reboot my lxr,
The new firmware version is VO.36 and i have all the new modifications of brendanclark with all of my sound on it.
Reboot my lxr to be sure.
Weird chinease symbol again and nothing on the menu, all black.
    Reboot my lxr.
    Everything's ok.

    SO.... wtf ?
  • i've tried the new firmware BUT i don't have the looper, the shift + play button don't re loaded the original drumkit.
do i download the wrong versions ?
pls help me, i'm really no't good enough to understand alone.
  • Sorry, I don't have a solution, but it sounds similar to this problem:

Or maybe, the firmware you downloaded is empty, must have around 140 Bytes... I had that problem.
    Maybe try another SD card.
