Stupid question! How do I save???

I have tried multiple times to save patterns and cannot for the life of me figure it out...

I press the load/save button. Use the encoder to change where I want the pattern saved, change the text, go over to the OK and press it. A bunch of numbers scroll as if it is doing something and then when I try to load the pattern. It is empty. No sounds, no patterns.

Help!

Is there some sort of memory protection ???

    The procedure seems correct, but something is apparently wrong. Does saving other things like presets and settings work?

    Is the sequencer running, while you try to save?
    I also ended up with same empty patterns while the sequencer was running.
    But is was not reproducable.
    When the sequencer is stopped everythink works great for me!

    Played with it again last night and now it seems to be working.
    Very strange.

    Does the machine always default to drum kit 1 and an empty pattern when first turned on? Or can this be changed?

    I am happy, that it's working now!
    No, the LXR starts up with an empty pattern and you have to load a new pattern first.

    Ok thanks.

    By the way lxr with a bit crusher and eventide space is just killer!
    Sprinkle some sh101 and.... Bliss!
