Midi Sync with Ableton live

I'm trying to sync the LXR with Ableton live , there seems to be a sync problem , it's not quite in time or slowly slips out , any ideas why ?

    Seems like it was mostly caused by latency , as the LXR was routed through an ableton channel in order to use the mute and solo buttons and ther was a delay.
    Now I've plugged it direct and it's pretty tight but still certain kits sound out of time.

    Anyway we'll see tomorrow night .........
