Cannot sync via MIDI in - only USB

Hello all,

Struggling to get my LXR to respond to start/stop commands via MIDI. It only seems to respond to incoming MIDI via USB, but not through the MIDI DIN. I have tried syncing from my Monomachine, my Bitstream 3X and straight from my Lexicon Omega via MIDI DIN, but to no avail. Any tips here?

I currently only sequence on the LXR itself, so don't need to be able to play it from my DAW or anything like that.

    I had this problem. Make sure you set RXF to "R" to receive clock/start/stop etc. Ultimately my problem was cold joints on the MIDI socket. I reflowed (heated up) the joints and it all came good.

    The LXR MIDI bugs are a real shame and should be fixed YESTERDAY

    For some reason I have now got it working! I turned on the LXR with the USB unplugged but the MIDI DIN plugged in, then set the RXF to R as mongrol has suggested, then it synced to the incoming clock immediately. Also changed the mrt setting from M2M to A2M, which should really have any effect but seems to have done something.

    Now to get my MNM to send the clock!

    Seems it's a dodgy cable causing me problems! Silly boy...
