Trigger IO Clock In Confusion

edited August 2015 in General
Hi, I finally got around to building my trigger IO and it seems to work fine (I've got it triggering my Tama Techstar and eurorack system) but I'm trying to clock it off of external sources (electro-harmonix clockworks in this case) and when I plug the clock into the "clock in" and set BPM to 0 I can't get it to play...

However, if I plug the clock into the "reset in" with BPM to 0 and hit play it seems to clock just fine from the external clock.

Am I missing something? Is the panel mislabeled? Could I have messed something up in the build?

I've just tried this using my SQ-1 as the clock source and the clock in of the lxr behaves as expected. It doesn't respond at all to the reset in.
  • reset in works more like a start/stop in.
As long as the reset in is high the LXR will be stopped. when it goes low again it should start at step 1 of the current pattern.

    which enclosure do you use?
  • I'm using the basic acrylic enclosure with the back panel included with the trigger IO, I don't think it's possible to put it in backwards or anything...

When I get a chance I'll check the labeling on the trigger IO pcb, but right now I definitely have clock in functionality (including being able to change the PPQ in the menu) and it's definitely plugged into what is labeled "reset in" on the enclosure.

pretty weird, probably not that important in the grand scheme of things (since it works).
