I saw it's in the official wishlist but has it been implemented?

    not yet. More of a long term/maybe at the moment. I think patrick was working on moving the samples into faster memory to get the buffer time down. The issue when I tried playing around with it is that the loop time is quite long because of (I think) how the samples are buffered.

    I'm on a bit of hiatus from working on my custom firmware at the moment, but I will have another play around with this next time I have some time again.
