Due to the high demand I will take preorders for the next batch.
“Pre-order” just means I collect your email address, and I reserve a kit for you.
There is no commitment to buy. But I would appreciate it if you only reserve a seat if you are really interested in buying! NO PAYMENT IN ADVANCE!
When new kits are available I wil send an email to the people on the list. If you don't want to buy, the next person on the list will get your seat. If any kits are left from a batch they will go to the shop.
Prices are the same as in the shop:
Kit 280,- €
Enclosure 70,- €
If you want to reserve a seat, please send an email (NOT MONEY!) with your details to:

Hi!
Will the second batch include a revised pcb and/or is it any different?
Cheers/

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!
Today I've got the confirmation that both will be ready at the end of next week.
So I should be ready to send out the first kits as soon as they arrive.
I will only get a limited number of mainboards first, the rest is scheduled to arrive a week later.
So probably all the preorders will take their time to be served as the rest of the missing parts comes in over time. Still waiting for some missing jacks and OLEDs that are backordered, too.
I will post an update on my webpage/twitter etc soon.
Now it's time for my favourite part - burning all those AVRs and mainboards.
I'm still waiting for the Frontpanel PCBs, but I think I should be ready to start processing the preorders near the weekend
the problem is not so much burning the AVRs, but the whole setup of burning avrs, mainboards and testing the mainboards for basic functionality... just connecting the cables takes much longer than burning a single AVR
All parts are sorted now and shipping should start next week
As long as there is demand I'll supply more kits
I send out the pioneer run order using registered international uninsured mail via german post.
This was a cheap option, but the tracking sucks. But all pioneer orders arrived without problems.
So for the batch 1 I went with a DHL small package, wich is a little bit more expensive but still cheap.
It was advertised with better tracking, but as we all know by now, the tracking there sucks, too.
I have the feeling it took much longer than the registered mail, and since it is more or less uninsured, the 3 lost units which I had to replace on my account sucked, too!
That's why I decided to go with a regular DHL parcel with full insurance this time, which is unfortunately quite expensive for world wide shipping
I just checked again, and it seems I can add a full insurance to the registered mail via german post.
This would be considerably cheaper than normal DHL(something along the lines of 15,-€ post vs. 40€ DHL)
So at the moment I think I will go with the cheap option.
Opinions? or does anybody have a better idea for shipping?
