Midi channel on mixer page (bug)

I think I found a minor bug:
When the midi channel on the mixer page is set to '0' (and most of mine actually are for some reason), and parameter fetch is active, it is not possible to change the midi channel since channel 0 cannot be fetched...

Comments

  • What is the function of midi channel 0 anyway?
  • I use it to deactivate this channel from responding to signals, by that freeing channels in the whole set...
  • Ok, I can see that.
Would be more logical to have midi channel 1-16 followed by off (on position 17).
  • are you using my or some other firmware or stock .34? I don't think this was an option on the stock .34 firmware. If you are using mine, try the latest version, I can't reproduce this behaviour.
  • Stock .34
  • It's the same for me.
All of my channels are set to midichannel 0, but I trigger them by using channel 1.
I think the "0" is there due to an old entry in the setup file.
You can use the encoder to change it, but you won't be able to select the "0" afterwards.

  • Yes, that is what I do. Independently of that, I thought it is an appropriate comment for the "feature request and bug reports" part of the forum?
