It is possble to connect lxr to penrose?
Hi everyone. I'm sorry but i am relatively new in this 'eurorack module audio stuff' journey.I have a diy lxr, and now i'm very fascinated about the eurorack world. Unfortunately i haven't all clear about how some stuff works.
For example, as i understand it, seems that the trigger output of the lxr don't generate notes. I was wondering if i connect my lxr trigger output to the cv in of the penrose, can i assign a note to the signal?

Penrose just takes a continuous CV and makes a staircase CV corresponding to the selected notes out of it.
so for example if you feed it with a ramp signal, you won't get a continuous slide, but a glissando consisting of the selected notes.
currently there is no other way than to use a midi2cv module to use the LXR sequencer to play notes via CV.
