hi,
i would like to use both machines in time. so my mpc is the master and the lxr is the slave. (mpc midi out = lxr midi in)
the connection between both works, because i can start the mpc and the lxr will "run". however, my lxr is not at "0bpm" (0bpm doesnt work = no result/ no sequencer running). rxf is on "r" and txf is "off".
the situation is both instruments run with there on bpm and when i switch the sequences in sequencer mode ("next seq") the lxr will stop suddenly.
is there a black belted midi fighter with some information outside??
thanks in advance

But you have to set the bpm to 0! Otherwise the LXR doesn't react at all to an external clock. Midi filter setting "R" for RXF is correct when you only want to receive realtime data like clock, start and stop.
I'm using the official software.
@xirso my mpc is set on mtc (this one works better in my ableton ;-)) and of course i set the mpc on master. the mpc 1000 can do midi clock and mtc.
This is probably the problem. Can you try to set your mpc to transmit midi clock and start/stop messages?
Or you can try to set the RXF filter to "all". Maybe the mtc is filtered out in the "R" setting (it's only for midi clock and start/stop messages and mtc is a sysex message).
how do you use your mpc/lxr combo? i mean: lxr just percussions and snaresounds and kicks and on the mpc synth sounds or do you use on both boxes drums etc??
now i tested both boxes with "rxf" "all". there is no difference to the early setting. i also tested variations with "rxf" "all", "R" and "mrt" "off" and "m2m". a lot of menue diving without any result. the lxr "needs" a own tempo and after switching sequences the lxr stops. the sequences on the mpc change "immediately". this i think couldnt be the problem....
