sd card & mac??

can i format the sd card in 10.5.8 or is it pc only??

ok, the maschine run couple days and today flashs a message...."kit read error". so i try to connect the mbp with the lxr via usb. however my mac does not recognize the card...

any clue thx in advance?

As far as I know, the USB cable is for midi and sysex communication only. So you will not be able to mount your card like that. You need a card reader or slot on your Mac. You can format your card on osx using the disk utility easily.
As for your error, I had some trouble too, using a new sd card helped a lot. Also consider installing a cleaning tool that erases the invisible files that osx creates on your card.

It seems to do the job as I do not have any problem with this soft and my new sd card!

What brand of the SD work with your LXR please???

I have a SDHC C10 SanDisk ultra 40MB/s 8GB, this is the second SD i have buy  

and the hidden cleaner dont work with my macbook but i have download the cleanmydrive from the app store

I used a level 10 SONY 8GB SD card and it works fine…

today  i check the firmware update with kingstone sd but the same problem sd error, i cant save the current state of the lxr!!!!

No I was just saying I have the same sandisk SD card.
I had the same problems before but with another card and bad formatting. I remember I had quite some sweating time figuring how to format properly, maybe you should also look this way.

You should be able to use Disk Utility to format it to FAT32 in OSX(whatever version you have).

Ok, so LXR is working well with SDHC cards in general? I thought it wasnt..
So my problems come from those hidden files?
(some of my kits didn't sound anymore after a while, and I haven't modified it)
