"Expansion header" with 4 adcs and various digital outs and ins?  Methinks maybe a modular CV interface is in the works?

If so let me be the first to say they are willing to beta test

So far it is completely unused.
I just thought better to have an expansion header than to miss it in the future

You can use it to add additional buttons, LEDs and potentiometer to the machine.
I guess for Audio rate CV it could be a little bit slow, as the ADCs are connected to the frontpanel AVR.

Do you mean slow as in low sampling rate or slow as in latency?

Are there any un-used adc pins directly on the core processor board?

I've got the MIDIbox based switch matrix sitting doing nothing at the moment......

A cv breakout box to output pitch cv, velocity, lfos etc would be pretty sweet

I think that all of these controls are inputs.
