MIDI channels per-voice with full note range

Am I crazy or did the LXR at one point support assigning each voice an independent MIDI channel which could then control the entire note range? For example, using a keyboard to add a bass line by sending notes to channel 2 and setting the voice to receive on channel 2.

    no your not crazy, it does indeed do this, I was just fighting this very feature, in order to get external sequencing working. the last edit page lets you assign the channel for each voice.

    Hmm... I did this instinctively as I was searching, but it still wasn't working. I'll look into it a bit with some other sequencers.

    I was unable to get it working in either Ableton or Bitwig. It's as if the LXR is ignoring the note settings I have dialled in (in this case, 'any', and carefully putting each voice onto its own channel).

    I'm running 0.32, if it makes a difference.

    sorry ive been away from my lxr while on vacation. I do think the chromatic business was part of 0.34, but don't quite remember, if you check the firmware post it says what changed for each version.
