Midi Thru not functioning correctly
Hi all, signal chain here is Octatrack - LXR - MS20 mini. Sync works fine with octa as master, but thru is misbehaving. The LXR is set to M2M and I'm trying to sequence the MS20 from the octatrack's sequencer, but it seems that note off messages are being filtered out by the LXR. If I skip the LXR in the chain, everything works fine, but with it acting as a thru the first note keeps ringing indefinitely. Changing note length on the octa has no effect.
Have not tried it with Ableton as a midi source rather than the octatrack, will do so tomorrow in an attempt to isolate the problem. I know people have had problems getting the LXR and Octatrack to play together in the past, but it seems like the source of the problem may also be in the way the LXR handles note off messages.
This thread may be relevant but I decided to start a new one as this appears to be a separate issue - I would have thought that M2M mode would simply pass all the information through, unaffected by the LXR's attitude toward note offs.
