Manual Roll: Synchronized loops!
I recognized something interesting concerning the manual roll function in performance mode.
I programmed a bass line pattern and used the roll function on that voice creating nice rythmic variations.
Then I switched to voice editing mode while still holding down the button for that voice and the roll function continued.
Even when I released the button, it was still going on.
You can now tweak around and use it like a synchronized looper.
To turn off this looping just switch back to performance mode and use the manual roll function again.
Maybe this effect is already known, but I never read about it before.
However, it is a lot of fun to play with the generated rythms.
p.s.: It would be very cool to have a parameter for changing the volume of the repeats (0-100%). So, the volume of each repeat is multiplied by that parameter. This way it might sound like a simple delay. But maybe this idea is better suited for the repeat function of the snare voice.
