Using LXR as midi to usb interface

Is that possible just with the Midi routing on the LXR? I want to use the sequencers of my OP-1 to sequence an analog synth (with midi) thru the LXR. The OP-1 has a MINI B USB and the LXR has a B USB. It's hard to find an adapter and no cable like this exists afaik. But I found an adaptor and before I order this I wanna know if that's possible at all. Has anyone here made an experience with this? Thank you!

    I don't think the LXR can work as a USB "host", and it would need to do that for the OP-1 to work.

    No, that is not possible. USB always needs a host (most likely a computer). And the USB host has always a USB Type A socket. So it has a reason that you don't find a cable ;-)
