Sequencing external gear using the MIDI Out

The manual states: "The LXR is already capable of sequencing external gear. The manual has to be written, yet. TOODO: write MIDI out sequencing guide"

Any help on that? Ideally I would like to get a XOXBOX to be tempo synced and at least respond to play/stop, but still use the xoxbox step sequencer and controls. I guess you guys don't have to tutor me on the XOXBOX (but if you know it's great), but I don't know what to do on the lxr (neither, for now). My LXR was on shelf for a while, lack of time to get to it. I'm at firmware .32. Should I update to do these kind of things?

plug a midi cable from lxr midi out jack to xoxbox midi in jack, set xoxbox to midi sync mode. that's usually all you need to do with any sequencers. i don't remember if lxr has a setting that turns off midi clock output.

So, How do we write MIDI notes on a track, to sequence another synth?  

Are there dedicated tracks for this, or do we use one of the 7 voice tracks and use "Pattern Editing" "Step parameters"?  

Can we record MIDI notes into the tracks?

you can choose wich LXR paramaters do you want to transmit.
Notes/ALL/....

My LXR is not plugged in right now, but if I have time tomorrow I will give you a hint.

hi guyz , i am experienced a trouble , for sequencing external gear, i just want to sync the clock of the lxr to my combo meeblip/preenfm2 and start the sequencer of preenfm2 , my seq of the preenfm is set , but no sound , in the preenfm i see test note 24 and test velocity 120 on the menu , but no sound. lxr is on ALL for txf and rxf , i dont undestand what i ve missed.

if someone can send me his lights , in english or french , on my webmail , it will be great
