New feature request: save a new drumkit in morph state [resolved]

Hi There,
after burning some time and spinning some potis whilst playing with my freshly self build lxr :@) , i was so fascinated about the soundcreations while morphing from one drumkit to another, that i thought: "hmm - at this morph-position (x) - this kit sound crazy - i have to save this kit right away...". But i found out that's impossible (or i have checked this function not yet). After saving the kit on a new slot while morph pos = 63 (for example) the new saved "morph created kit" - sounds like the source kit on morph pos = 0. And yes - both kits where different ;)

So - if this is not possible, here is my feature request:
make saves possible of all changed parameters while the sound is in a morph state between to drumkits.
This will allow you to create some crazy kits "on the fly" while morphing to a funky value.

Best regards from Berlin
Michael

  • This should be what 'morph save' does - is that what you're using? (the screen should read 'Save: MorphKit', NOT 'Save: Kit') it's a bug if it's not saving based on the current morph position, as this is what is described in the manual. I haven't checked this feature in a while though.

I can fix this in a week or so on my firmware if this is indeed not working as intended, I have a good idea where the suspect functions are hiding ;)
  • exactly. that's what 'morph save' is intended for.
