SD card not detected after loading samples

So I tried to fill my LXR with TR-707 samples, and it didn't work as expected.

First try - Put the mono 44k1Hz samples on the SD card, about 390kB. Load > Samples [OK], and screen says something like "Uploading samples...", waited 30s,  1min, and after 5 min nothing happens. Restart the machine. And now if I try to do it all again it just blinks when I try to load the samples, afterwards it thinks for a second or so, and then says "SD card not detected!".

I'm on v.0.34.

  • Hello zthee, I'm having the exact same trouble at the moment, so I thought I could second that.
For me, when I try to do the firmware update, it also come up with a "SD card intit problem", not sure if the same happens to you…
  • The firmware update works for me. This happened first on 33, so I moved to 34 hoping it would fix the problem. But it still remains.
  • Ok, for the record, I'm also on 0.34.
I'll try tomorrow with a new SD card, d'ont know if it could come from this. Also, I'm on Osx.
  • Hi there i have the same problem, i cant see the kits but if i push the ok in sample to load i see the upload for a half second and after that i see the message " sd card not detected"
  • Hey I have not given any news about this problem, sorry for this.

So for me, using another sd card did the trick. I remember also using an osx cleaner to erase the hidden files just before ejecting the device.
I also had some trouble formatting with osx but ended up using fat32 I think.

My LXR is fully functional now.

    Hope this will help.
