MIDI CC Assignment Weirdness?

I'm wondering - does anyone actually use external MIDI CC automation to manipulate the voices? I'm trying to adjust the voices with the 'MIDI CC List' here (http://wiki.sonic-potions.com/index.php/LXR_Owners_Manual#MIDI) and nothing seems to line up, whatever way I try it (I'm using stock 0.34 firmware from the master branch). Like, for example CC #0 adjusts voice 1 filter drive?
