Sync LXR to Ableton via MIDI [SOLVED]

Hey!

I have not been able to figure this one out, any help would be much appreciated

I have connected the Presonus External sound card to my Mac and set the Ableton preferences to Midi Out -Sync On and Track ON. And the LXR BPM to zero, Midi Chanel two. Connected the Midi cable- soundcard out, lxr in.

I set the MIDI track channel out to channel two ableton but no sync so far. This is my first attempt to syncing something.

Don't the monitor button's have to be set to 'auto' or 'in' ? I can't see a yellow button on the monitors of the audiotracks ? Just a thought...

Hey vibes, well, monitor buttons are for incoming audio as far as I know, they dont do much when trying to sync unfortunately

Maybe the MIDI sync messages are disabled in the LXR settings?

IIRC it's in the global settings...

Midi sync is not dependent on a midi channel. 

Your sync out from Ableton looks correct, BPM=0 is correct, try going into the LXR menu, finding RXF and setting it to all.

So what is this midi filtering? what does it filter by letters?
