trouble when loading wav files (solved)

edited September 2014 in Troubleshooting
Hello to the world. I am a new user of this wonderful machine and i want to use the wav (sample load) function.
I have created the folder named samples and i loaded my mono (less than 480kb) samples and copied it to the card.
I loaded the samples ok but when i select a sample for playback the machine stops producing sound, or running (i have it in slave mode) and i have to power it off in order to start working again (which obviously means that i lose my pattern too)
I tried diferent ways and i funnily noticed that even if i deleted some samples from the folder on the SD card the drumsynth keeps on recognising the initial amount of samples that i had loaded the first time, still without playing anything back, and kind of refusing to play also the built in sequence.
Even when i totally deleted the folder, the machine would recognise the samples i had uploaded several session ago......
Any advice on this ?

  • I m on v 0.34
  • I tried loading 10 samples and it did fine after all...
Maybe i was having too many samples in the folder,
Is there a maximum amount recommended ?
    I had almost 45...
    Thanks
  • the number of samplesnormally should not matter if thexy don't exceed the maximum size
