  • I'll be very appreciated for schematic. KiCad is ok.
  • Hi,
    Will midi out send midi clock ? This would be useful to sync a x0xb0x for example.
    Thanks in advance
  • sure. In one of my soundcloud demos (xox+solaris) I did exactly that.
    It can also be synced to incoming MIDI clocks

    Good! PCB is not routed and there's enough place, so i'll include AVR chip and LCD with minimal interface.

    I would recommend an additional cap or an inductance in front of the 3V3 connector of the SD card socket. Some cards will cause a big power drop when hotplugged (resetting the STM32). I'll have to change this in the next revision.

    Comment from shiftr "Pioneer Run Feedback" discussion got me thinking this question.

    Will we need special equipment to update to the new firmwares ? or this will be done over existing USB interface on board ?

    You put the FIRMWARE.BIN file on a FAT32 formatted SD card, hold down the encoder switch while powering up the device, and both, the front AVR and the mainboard will be updated.

    shiftr had a PCB only set.

    like Julian said i had only a PCB set so i had to flash the ATmega myself. If you buy a kit from Sonic Potions it will contain the ATmega wich is already flashed with the bootloader.
  • I'd like to make a case design for myself... do you have a PDF or something available from the PCB?
  • perfect! :)

    Thank you ! That's great, this drum machine seems to be the perfect choice for minimal setup living room acid jams :
    • LXR midi out -> x0xb0x midi in to sync them
    • LXR audio out -> x0xb0x mix in to... mix them
    • x0xb0x phone out -> headphone to enjoy !
    I think even the Korg Volcas can't do that...
