Choosing my midi channel

Hey fellow LXR users. Got my baby since yesterday and already had big, big fun .. but there's one thing I don't understand. Where can I choose my Midi channel?

The manual says in the Settingsmenu. When I go there, pressing shift+load/save, I can set the BPM Rate, Screensaver and two or three more parameters, but I can't choose my midichannel over there. Hope someone can give me a detailed description how to change it. Gonna play a new live set next Thursday & look forward to make that a debut for my new LXR as well

What firmware version? You might just need to upgrade.

Hey rudeog, thnx for your quick reply. Mine uses V0.24. I see the latest OS is V0.34 so guess that makes sense ?

You should update to the last version. It's a pretty quick and easy thing to do. Just load the latest version onto the SD card and follow the instructions in the manual.

Then you should be able to find the midi settings as explained in the wiki manual. You can set individual channels for each part too btw.

Thnx for helping me out guys. Just did the update yesterday. A lot of new functions and yes .. selecting my midi channel = workin' now. Good to know it's possible to set individual channels, thnx for the tip papernoise !
