What about FXs like delay and reverbs?

Hi!

I'm a fan and user of the LXR, my only drum machine for my live performance, and i hope i will post a performance as soon as possible.

The only things that sometime i missed are the effects. There is anyone that is thinking about that?
is just curiosity :)

    Delay and Reverb are best outsourced to some outboard gear, dont you think?

    @egnouf has been working on some effects in his custom firmware.

    As a purely technical exercise I've been meaning to get a delay going for another project with the same CPU, but haven't gotten around to it yet since I'm bogged down with work. Hopefully soon... The limited memory will probably limit the usefulness though.

    How about a "stutter" effect like the Volca Beats? (sort of a midi delay I guess)

    I am still asking myself if a simple delay may be possible by expanding the repeat function with a feedback (0-100%) and a repeat time (time between two repeats).
    I am not a programmer and cannot try it out.
    But maybe it is a first simple try.

    I was thinking a simple distortion/overdrive would be cool.

    For distortion , I would go for the LXR marimba ;-) you have it in the FX section :-)
