Little video that includes the LXR with some live play.

Just a quick vid I made today jammin out.


Analog Rytm, Sonic Potions LXR, Mopho X4 on dub chord(Cant see it in the video), Euro Rack modular(Cant see it in video). Midi Time code from Bitwig Studio. Euro Rack is clocked from Analog 4.

In this one the Rytm is using all samples from Gold Baby SPL 1200 909 kit and 606 kit.  Also the Mopho is running through the inputs of the Rytm.

Everything is mixed on Mackie Onyx and run into a pair of great river preamps then into Smart Research C1LA buss compressor into Burl AD then in the box sony inflator and FAB L with a touch of limiting.

    Hello,
    In the end I just extracted the AUDIO from the Video :-)

    We wil release soon a video .. so I prefer for quality reason to upload here only the sound.

    So it was at "Fete de la musique" " Grenoble, France" organized by the town hall and the music label called Lite Licht.

    We played 1h15 around midnight :-) Many many people dancing :-)

    1. if you listen to the WAV below, you will hear many sounds but the TOM, HITHAT, PERCU SNARE are from the LXR :-)
    2. The kick is not from the LXR due to overlap with my collegue who is responsible for the KICK (we prefer to seperate the kick from any other track ;-) ) .
    Have a nice listening and sorry for the DISTORTION sound.. this sound has been recorded by a camera.
    We had a huge PA :-) Trust me!

    The kick from the Analog Rytm sounds a bit muffled. Noticed the same in other videos on Youtube. Is it just the settings or does the kick voice sound slightly dull? 

    I have the Analog Four myself and while the factory patches often had a similar kind of dull sound, most of my own patches and the OS 1.1 factory presets sounded "better" to me.

    I had a elektron machine drum and the kick is not so good :-( so normal !

    As stated in the original post the sounds coming from the AR are gold baby samples loaded into the AR from the SPL 1200 pack for 909 and 606. Also I believe I filtered the kick a bit. The native kick machines on the AR are great as well. Not muffled if you don't want them to be and you can also layer in some top for snap with samples.
