Clock In / Reset In Odd Problem

edited June 2014 in General
Just built another LXR with trigger expansion and have been testing it and found a strange problem with the Clock In and Reset In inputs.

The Clock In doesn't seem to work (tempo set to 0 of course) and sending it a healthy stream of triggers. However, if I plug the clock signal into the Reset In input, it seems to work like a clock input and responds to the scaler values etc.

Everything else is functioning OK.

Any thoughts?

  • Ah, not to worry. Seems it was a bug between V0.32 and V.034

    Updating to V0.34 solved it.

    :)
  • Still no luck for me on v0.34. Clock in works but reset does nothing, any tips on settings?
  • My settings under (shift+save/load) are [bpm 0][qnt 32][ch 1][txf off][rxf all][mrt off][fch off][flw on][ssv on][pcr off][cki 1][co1 1][co2 4][mod off]. The reset in seems to work fine, but the LXR receive the clock from midi. Sorry havn't time today to test deeper with an analog clock. It's probably not your case but i remember that i have one time inverse the different out and in when all the triggers and so were connected.

  • Hmm, still no luck with reset even after copying settings. Might have to open her up and look at the extension board :(
  • you could measure if you get a 5V signal on pin 10 of P1.
    maybe the transistor is bad...
  • Ah thanks Julian, had almost given up. Will check this afternoon :)
  • Spot the deliberate mistake on pin 10. Always the simplest fault that gets you. Anyway working perfectly now :)
