can the lxr run a seperate mid sequence?

Hi everybody im looking at maybe getting a lxr for my set up but wanted to know a few things to see if its what i need. i know its a really good synth drum machine but i want a hardware step sequencer for my synth and want to know if this would be capable of doing the drums and sequencing a synth. have the machine play the drum sequences you've programed and the synth at the same time sort of like a seperate midi track?

    Ok so it really depend on what you're syncing with the lxr.
    You have 7 track on the lxr, each can have his own miditrack. You can run midi note thru this 7 track. You can use 6 tracks for drum, and one for your synth for example. To use only for the synth, just shut the volume of the track you want to use for your synth. You can also record midinote from a synth(from the keyboard for example) in the lxr.
    Also, from the last firmwire update
    - MIDI Note Off is send when amplitude envelope reaches zero (global settings gate mode parameter 'mod' has to be set to on)
