Trigger out not triggering

I built the lxr with trigger out a while ago but have only just started eurorack and just got my first drum module which is TipTop audio 909 clap. I have plugged trigger/track1 to the gate of the module and Im going straight from the module to my audio interface but cant seem to get any sound, are there any settings I need to change? I have changed the trigger mod to on in the settings menu. Im on firmware 0.32 

edit. tested the clap with my x0xb0x gate and it works fine but I just only seem to get a bit of noise with the lxr trigger

updated the firmware same problem,  the noise part of the clap is putting out noise. how do you change the gate length on the lxr?

set global settings gate mode parameter 'mod' to on

now when the end of the amp envelope reaches 0, the trigger ends. (also a note off is sent)
you can use the length of the envelope (for example the decay parameter) to change the gate length.
this way you can automate it or use a lfo to modulate it.

Thanks, it appears triggers 3-7 on my lxr work fine but 1 doesn't trigger and 2 doesn't trigger on all notes

are all the jumpers (v/s-trigger) installed correctly?
the not triggering on all notes can be due to the gate length settings.
try reducing the amp eg decay on track 2 or turn the global settings gate mode parameter 'mod' to off.

this parameter controlls the gate length behaviour.
if off the triggers are just short pulses, if on it is related to the amp EG time.
if the amp EG time is longer than the time between 2 notes you can get missing triggers sometimes. I have to look into it for the next update.
